Policies & Procedures
The Club Constitution and Policies establish rules for the operation of the club for the benefit of all members. The current documents were adopted by club members on 24 June 2008 after much consultation. The Policies in particular attempt to deal fairly with the various issues that arise in running the club. The Policies are based on past experiences and attempt to assist the club to avoid repeating past mistakes.
All players, parents, officials and other club members are required to abide by and support these rules.
Any member may submit a proposal to amend the Constitution or Policies at an Annual General Meeting. If the required majority favour the amendment at the AGM then it will apply for the following season. The correct process for suggesting changes is contained within the Constitution. Of course club members are invited to raise any concerns at a General Meeting or with the Executive Committee.
There will be occasions during every season where indiviual members may feel disadvantaged by decisions based on club Policies, however it is important that everyone understands the committee must work in the best interests of the club as a whole.
